IUI (INTRA UTERINE INSEMINATION)

IVF (IN VITRO FERTILISATION)
It is an Artificial Reproductive technique in which oocytes are retrieved from Ovary, Fertilized outside the human body.
In vitro fertilization is a process of fertilization where an egg is combined with sperm outside the body, in culture media under controlled environment (in vitro).
This is an Artificial Reproductive Technique in which, Egg retrieved from ovary put in a culture media in our lab along with processed sperms.so that the sperm can fertilize the egg easily. This media with kept in an incubator for 3-5 days; The embryo formed can be freezed.
The process involves monitoring and stimulating a woman's ovulatory process, removing an ovum from the woman's ovaries, and letting sperm fertilize them in a liquid in a laboratory.

ICSI (INTRA CYTOPLASMIC SPERM INJECTION)
This is also an Artificial Reproductive Technique, in which the retrieved Eggs, injected directly with morphologically selected sperm with help of a special needle under high quality microscope.
This method bypasses the difficulty of fertilization in conventional IVF; This injected Egg kept in a culture media and kept an incubator. So that the eggs can undergo fertilization and forms an embryo.
Embryo Freezing

A Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) is a cycle where a frozen embryo from a previous fresh IVF cycle is thawed and transferred back into a woman's uterus.
It can help people preserve fertility and have options for pregnancy later in life. The best embryo cryopreservation services are provided by our care provider, gynecologist or fertility specialist at Lakshmi Fertility Centre in Karaikudi.

Testicular Biopsy, TESA, PESA
PESA and TESA are infertility treatments we carry out at our Lakshmi Fertility Centre, which involve surgical retrieval of sperm from the male partner. This treatment is useful for couples with severe male factor infertility and involves collection of sperm from the testicles.
Surgical sperm collection is done when the male partner has problems with natural release of sperm; this could be due to a blockage, a genetic cause, or poor sperm production. The sperm thus obtained are separated from the fluid collected from the testes, specially prepared, and then used for fertilization.
